The clients could be happy with the marketers taking full responsibility of the data but it is a wrong practice that could have serious consequences for clients in the long run.
What if a digital marketing company shuts its shop without any notice to any of its clients? If you are in the habit of maintaining client data then discontinue the practice with immediate effect as the consequences of such accounts could be grave in the long run.
